LOL, after all this time, i finally have a stable version to release.

New in this version:
1 No more moon walking
2 Deceleration animation
3 Multi Platform Capable
4 Passable (conditional) Platforms
5 Wall constraints
6 Wall Jumping, and Sliding

Known Glitches:
1 Character still occasionally moves without move animation.
2 Character glitches out when in contact with floor and wall at once. Adding push function to correct this.

Same controls as before, plus some new ones.
Up - Jump
Left, Right - Move
Down - Drop below passable platform
Hold direction while on wall to wall slide
While wall sliding, press up to jump off wall.

Amazing :) We are currently working on our own Platform Engine but its nowhere near as advanced as this!

This was an old project done in ActionScript 2, long since abandoned unfortunatly =(
This version is slightly more updated, but a tad more glitchy because it was a pre release: [link]

Best of luck on your engine, making a good one is pretty tough. Lots of code grinding, lots of caffeinated beverages.

Now it just needs to side scroll and it can be it's own slightly entertaining game, provided people can be amused long enough with zero goals or obstacles.. you can hope.

This is so awesome! Great job man, I can't wait to see what I can do with this. But in all honesty, this physics engine is one of the best I've seen, comparable to the engine of "Ching Chong Beautiful" on newgrounds(minus the random physics programming from obstacles).

The best thing about this engine, It's totally modular. You can just drag things in and thay work. no need to program now platforms or walls into the game.
